Panoramic Sicily villa in Taormina,a stone’s throw from the sea. This villa spreads over one level of about 70 sqm. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one large kitchen and a salon. The first room is a double bedroom with a wrought iron bed, night tables,a cabinet and air conditioning; it’s very bright with 2 windows, one viewing the garden and the other one the beach of Giardini Naxos. The second room is a single bedroom with night table, a cabinet and air conditioning, a window viewing the garden. The last room is a double bedroom with night tables, cabinet and air conditioning; the window views the garden. The bathrooms have the showers, and in one you can find the washing machine, too. In the salon there’s a sofa bed, air conditioning, tv and radio. The exterior of the villa presents a beautiful garden, with a plenty of Sicilian typical plants: bouganvillea, roses, basil, lemontrees, grapes … just outside the main entrance is located a table where you can have your “al fresco” dining, and two lazy chairs on which you can take your “tintarella” enjoying your peace and privacy.
Bedrooms (2) And Bathrooms (1): a double with en-suite on the ground floor; a double on the ground floor; a bathroom (shower) on the ground floor.
MAMMA'S ANGELS TIP (by Adele, who will welcome you at this villa): Dawn and sunset in Taormina: unmissable!

Closest Market: 1 km - Closest restaurant: 0,2 km - Closest Piazza (or center): 1 km
The pearl of Sicily, one of the worldwide masterpieces of beauty: here it is Taormina (photo, o,500 meters away), an evergreen location that has attracted people since the ancient times. Archaeology, mith, a sort of Arab architecture, amazing landscapes, a blu sea, and such a nobless atmosphere, gives Taormina a unique charm. A walk in Via del Corso is an unforgettable moment to do not miss among exclusive shops, delicious restaurants and coffe, stunning views of the sea, the Greek theatre, the terrifying sagoma of Etna volcano on the background … and those tireless viveur of this town.
Few kilometers from the dowtonwn, here it is one of the most beautiful place in the world: Taormina mare (photo, Mazzarò, Spisone, Isolabella), with so many lido (private beaches with restaurants).
Above Taormina worth a visit the nice Castelmola.
Just 30 kms and you can reach the Etna park.
I suggest you to enjoy Mamma's Etna tour, a familiar-friendly experience that will alloww you to have a complete picture of the highest volcano in Europe.
The beach of of Giardini Naxos (photo) is almost 2 kms away.
In Giardini you can also enjoy the nice promenade, many restaurants, a vivid local life and the remains of the first Greek setllement of Sicily: Naxos.
Catania (photo) is almost 30 kms away.
It is a nice town and I suggest you to park the car in Piazza Alcalà and then have the following walk: outdoor fish-market in Piazza Duomo, via Etnea up to the villa Bellini (and here enjoy the Bar Savia). Along the via Etnea you will admire a gorgeous Baroque style (Unesco's) and the remains of the Roman anphitheatre in Piazza Stesicoro.
Another good tip is the visit of the Alcantara gorges (photo, 20 km's away) shaped by the river that has modelled the lava stone determining this fascinating canyon.
For nature lovers I have two suggestions: Monte Scuderi (30 km’s) and, for birdwatchers, Dinnammare (40 km’s) a bottle-neck, I mean one of the few places all over the world where to observe the migration of birds of prey (from April to June).
And now, I give the peen to my wife, the chef Silvana Recupero.
You are in the land of ice creams and granite (photo): have the latter for breakfast (with brioche).
Pasta? Uhmmm ... let me think …: Norma, Vongole, Nero di Seppia, Sarde!
Some other food tip ? Here it is: Arancino, Cipollina, Sicilian salade (tomato, onion, black olives, ricotta salata), involtini alla messinese, swordfish alla griglia.
A good tip is to visit the biggest chestnut in the world, in Sant’Alfio (10 km’s).
