Holidays to Trapani! This gorgeous Sicily villa, among the most beautiful in Sicily, overlooking the beach in the downtown of Cornino the marvelous village in the Gulf of Bonagia, determined by the cape of Erice and the natural reserve of mount Cofano: a pearl in this side of Sicily. The exterior, almost 3000 sqm, shows a lot of gorgeous relaxing corners (patio, BBQ area with wood oven, gazebo, greenery park with tropical and succulent plants) and a breathtaking blu panorama in which the sky, the ocean and the two rock mountains (Erice and Cofano) drawn an unforgettable natural landscape. The huge infinity pool (20×12 m !) display, in the western side, the so called “spiaggia” (beach): a 20 meters corridor (10 cm height) where you can enjoy the deckchairs as if you were on the beach! Also, when you are inside the pool it seems to be inside the sea, since there is a sort of weak wave with the same motion of the ocean (that is just in front of you, less than 50 meters away). The exterior has been carved from the local prestigious, yellow stone: the marble of Custonaci. At last, there is also a terrace, above the house, with the same, fantastic, scenery of this side of Sicily. The interior, 300 sqm, spreads on 2 levels. Both of them facing the garden. On the first level we can find a living room that access to the exterior (just where there is the BBQ area) through a glass door and 4 spacious and elegant bedrooms (almost 50 sqm each! 3 doubles and 1 twin), each one with an en suite bathroom. On the upper floor there is a huge saloon absolutely prestigious and unique in which there is a stunning glass window overlooking the sea. In this level we can also find a fully equipped kitchen and another bathroom. The villa is equipped with stylish and luxurious furniture. Of particular value are the floors of the suites, some of them made by the worldwide famous marble “Perlato di Sicilia” carved from the local quarries and some others made by an exceptional and rare Algerian marble. The villa has been designed by one of the most renowned Italian architect.

Custonaci is a lovely town, famous all over the world for its fine marble.
We have a cave (Grotta Mangiapane, photo) were until 50 years ago lived our ancestors, inside low and characteristic houses !
It is located in the harbour of Cornino, by the sea.
Just by the cave, along the promenade of the wonderful beach of Cornino you may find the entrance for a pillar of Nature in Sicily: Monte Cofano (photo).
Have a nice walk among breathtaking landscapes, archaeology and a Tonnara
Just 15 km’s away from Custonaci here it is San Vito Lo Capo, a masterpiece of touism in Sicily and from were you can visit the Zingaro, a natural reserve that has many “calette”, corners of golden beaches, a sort of Paradise.
Erice, one of the most beautiful Sicilian hamlets, is 10 km’s away. This medieval town is said the “town of love”, since here there was an eternal fire, just on top of the mountain, that during the ancient times (from at least VII b.C.) attracted the sailors of the Mediterranean due the presence of the “ancelle di Venere” (handmaids of Aphrodite). You can still see the Pozzo di Venere (from where the eternal fire emanated) in the gorgeous castle. In Erice you can have a walk in the past, along its courtyards, narrow alleys, its stone everywhere, the megalithic town walls and … the Ericini (cookies)!!!
Trapani its 10 km’s away and my suggestion is to visit the Arab style downtown, the outdoor fish market and to take a boat for the Egadi islands.
Thirty kilometers away from Custonaci you can arrive to Marsala and the Stagnone an archipelago where stand the island of Mozia (photo) a masterpiece of archaeology and nature. The Stagnone is also a sort of outdoor museum with the renowned salt works.
Castellammare del Golfo lasts 10 km’s: it’s a very beautiful town with a gorgeous Playa beach.
And, at last, I suggest you to visit Segesta (25 km’s): temple, castle, mosque.
