Mamma Mela is a luxurious property located in Ribera, just 5 kms away from the renowned Blue Flag beach of the Platani Naturalistic Reserve. The villa spreads on two levels: in the ground floor we can find living room, library, a gorgeous kitchen and a suite. On the first floor we have other 3 double bedrooms one of them en-suite. The house has luxurious furnitures and is provided with all comforts. The exterior is a Paradise, with many relaxing corners, a well-equipped BBQ area and a wonderful pool area. We are in an area of Sicily which includes wonderful beaches, some of which repeatedly awarded with the blue flag as the cleanest and sustainable beaches in Sicily.
The villa is located in Borgo Bonsignore, a small village built in the early XX century for agricultural purposes.
These borghi (literally: small villages), nowadays still visible in Sicily, had a similar architectural design: the main square with the church, the school, the post office, the police station and a building used both as market and common hall; and, all around, the small houses of the farmers.Ribera is worldwide renowned for its oranges and strawberry (fragoline di Ribera)
Just 500 meters from Borgo Bonsignore here it is the stunning Naturalistic Reserve of the Platani river.
At the mouth of the river begins one of the nicest and goldest beaches of Sicily.
