This Sicily villa is located in the green countryside of Trapani and is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, away from traffic and daily strain, so you can reclaim your own space, your own time, your own feelings and rediscover the authenticity of nature. Il Casale is structured on two levels and can accommodate up to ten people. You access inside from a large lounge with dining area and conversation area, characterized by the presence of the stone fireplace that makes the atmosphere warm and cozy, both for the choice of the colors and the furniture. Many furniture pieces are antiques belonged to the family and they are mixed with contemporary design elements. The spacious kitchen with typical Sicilian handicraft furniture is equipped with all necessary. The ground floor consists of three double bedrooms, one of these with French bed and two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. All rooms are elegantly furnished with every attention to detail. The old loft, located in the ground floor, has been preserved and restored, obtaining a further bedroom and it has been enhanced by a small and cheerful underlying kitchen and another conversation area.
On the first floor there is the refined master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and a balcony from which you enjoy a breathtaking view of the countryside and the surrounding landscape. The house is surrounded by a lush garden, characterized by the presence of several plants of the Mediterranean maquis. The large verandas (only partially covered) surrounding the house are the ideal place to enjoy healthy relax, sipping a good wine or reading a book. The BBQ area, also equipped with wood-burning oven, allows you to cook delicious outdoor meals. A small path leads to the swimming pool where you can get relief during the hottest hours of the day, the roof sun terrace is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas to make your stay more comfortable

The western side of Sicily, the side that was colonized by Phoenician and never ruled by the Greeks (like the Eastern side of Sicily did). A witness of the people of Cartagine is the gorgeous islet of Mozia, one of the little islands of Lo Stagnone, just in front Marsala. Here you can have a bath and a walk to Isola Longa (just in front Mozia) were you can access, from the San Teodoro tower, by a path in the sea!
From Trapani you can reach, in few minutes, the mountain were stands Erice, a medieval hamlet were you can enjoy a superb panorama of the sickle shape of Trapani, of the salt works and of the Egadi islands.
Do not miss the “genovesi” delicious sweets by Maria Grammatico.
I suggest you to visit the wonderful island of Favignana, were one can still admire the biggest almadabra (tuna fishing) in the Mediterranean presently a museum (here you can also see finds regardin the battle between Carthaginians and Romans!
Fifteen minutes away from Favignana you can reach the island of Levanzo where one can visit the Grotta Cala dei Genovesi, with prehistoric graffiti !
In Marsala don’t forget to visit the Baglio Anselmi Museum where a Punic ship is exposed.
Trapani is renowned for its gorgeous palaces and churches that you can admire in the historic centre.
The delight of the eyes should be accompained with the delight of the palate.

Do not miss our cous cous with fish, the pasta busiati with pesto trapanese and, of course, our fish (grilled or baked).
