Mamma Graziella
Villa
Amazing villa immersed in a green and lush garden of Mediterranean plants. The villa stands on two levels. On the ground floor we find a large saloon overlooking the pool area, a spacious kitchen from where one can access the gorgeous exterior terrace provided with BBQ, tables, patio and a stunning panorama of the Ionian gulf. On the ground floor we also find two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor we have a living room and two other double bedrooms (one en-suite) and another bathroom. The exterior of the house is simply stunning with a relaxing and secluded pool area. Here we also find a patio with a table ideal for pool-meal! The house is located in the village of Pedara one of the most appreciated summer places of Catania area. The AC is present in the bedrooms.
Bedrooms (4) and Bathrooms (4): 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor; a bathroom with bathub on the ground floor; a bathroom with shower on the ground floor; a double bedroom on the first floor floor with en-suite (shower); a double bedroom on the first floor; a bathroom with shower on the first floor

We are in Pedara a nice Etna village. The house lasts 1 kilometer from the center so you are close by everything. During the evening Pedara is a stunning place where to have a walk or enjoy an ice-cream or a Sicilian meal in one of the many restaurants of the Corso.
We are in the eastern side of Sicily, and two masterpieces dominate the landscapes; the sea and Etna volcano, joined by something bigger than them: the blue Sicilian sky!
Etna Park (Unesco’s), with its inactive volcanos (the sons of Etna), caves, forests, lava grounds … lasts 10 km’s
Catania, with its gorgeous Via Etnea and its outdoor markets, lasts 10 km’s.
The Playa (beaches) too lasts 10 km’s.
I suggest you get a visit to Acitrezza and Acicastello (5 km’s), fishermen hamlets, where the lava flow has painted a castle and basalt giants (sea stacks).
Taormina, the pearl of Sicily, is almost 30 km’s away: it’s a magic place with the amazing Isolabella and its narrow streets rich in history, a sort of vintage atmosphere and fashion: cool!
Siracusa (Unesco’s), and its Greek masterpieces it’s almost 60 km’s away.
Another tips is the visit of Pantalica (Unesco’s), with its more than 3000 graves carved on the rock, a river, a forest and a sort of mistery all around.
At a glance: Acireale (Baroque style, 5 km), Savoca (The Godfather movie’s spot, 40 km), Brucoli (sea, 40 km), Megara Ibla (archaeology, 40 km), Randazzo (40 km), Giardini Naxos (sea, 30 km), Cavagrande del Cassibile (nature, 60 km)
It’s time to eat something and my tip is to do not miss the Pasta alla Norma and to have, at least once, a typical Sicilian breakfast: granita and brioche!
And, of course, fish, fish, fish … and visit the outdoor fish markets (Riposto, Acitrezza, Catania).
