Linosa and Lampione islands

A few steps from the African Sea, this nature reserve is characterized by spectacular flora and fauna: red starfish, unpolluted sea depths full of life, invertebrates and brilliantly colored fauna.

It is therefore a paradise for divers and also to see the Caretta carretta turtles nest every two years.

Linosa is a volcanic island that consists of four eruptive centers.

The nature reserve of the Pelagie Islands, Linosa and Lampione, constitute a very particular environment in which more than 200 species of plants grow.

On the uninhabited rock of Lampione nest the Eleonora’s falcons, while under water, the white shark reproduces along with other species of sharks.
