Mamma Federica è una casa unica in Sicilia. Si trova dentro la riserva naturale del Fiume Platani con un incantevole panorama che si affaccia sul mare Africano, come viene chiamato il Mediterraneo da queste parti. La spiaggia dorata è da anni premiata con la Bandiera Blue, che ne attesta la limpidezza e la purezza. La casa, in tipico stile mediterraneo, ha una matrimoniale, un bagno con doccia, un salone Cucina ed una camera da pranzo. Una scala porta al soppalco dove è presente una doppia. La villetta è fornita di tutte le comodità ed è luminosa, pulita, aperta sul mare. L’esterno, ovviamente, è anch’esso un balcone sul mare. Ripetiamo: mamma Federica è una casa unica in Sicilia!

Siamo in una zona della Sicilia che comprende spiagge meravigliose, alcune delle quali più volte premiate con la Bandiera Blu, come spiagge più pulite e sostenibili della Sicilia.

La villa si trova a Borgo Bonsignore, un piccolo borgo sorto nei primi del '900 per scopi agricoli.

Questi borghi, ancora oggi visibili in Sicilia, avevano un impianto architettonico simile: la piazza principale con la chiesa, la scuola, l'ufficio postale, la questura e un edificio adibito sia a mercato che a sala comune; e, tutt'intorno, le casette dei contadini.

Ribera è famosa in tutto il mondo per le sue arance e fragole (fragoline di Ribera)

A soli 500 metri da Borgo Bonsignore ecco la splendida Riserva Naturalistica del fiume Platani.

Alla foce del fiume inizia una delle spiagge più belle e dorate della Sicilia.

La spiaggia incantevole e sopra essa Mamma Fedrica circondata dal verde: un Paradiso in terra!


A soli 15 km si trova il rinomato campo da golf di Verdura.

Agrigento con i suoi templi (Unesco) dista 40 km.

Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen im Haus Mamma Federica verbracht.
Von den diversen Terrassen hat man immer einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer, welches in 10-15 min. zu Fuss erreichbar ist.
Am Pool zu liegen, ein kühles Bier, den Grillen lauschen, den Blick übers Meer schweifen…wow!
Vielen Dank auch an Nicola, welcher 2x pro Woche vorbeikam um den Pool zu reinigen, für die leckeren Zitronen.Grazie mille Nino und Team.
Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen
(We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the Mamma Federica house.
From the various terraces you always have a wonderful view of the sea, which is only a 10-15 minute walk away.
Lying by the pool, enjoying a cold beer, listening to the crickets, looking out over the sea...wow!
Many thanks also to Nicola, who came round twice a week to clean the pool, for the delicious lemons.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Nino die voor ons heerlijk verse lokale producten had klaargezet. Het huis was netjes en de buitenomgeving was fantastisch. Het uitzicht over de zee en het natuurpark is fenomenaal met zeer mooie zonsondergangen. Wij hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht, het verkoelende zwembad en de privacy. In de omliggende stadjes zijn er voldoende restaurants en supermarkten. (van 5 min tot 20 min met de auto). De keuken is voldoende uitgerust om zelf een maaltijd te bereiden. Het huis zelf is goed bereikbaar. En Antonino reageert heel snel op berichtjes. Kortom was dit voor ons een zalige vakantie waar we nog lang gaan aan terugdenken! Dank jullie wel Antonino, Nino en Ivana. Misschien komen we ooit een keertje terug.
(We were received very warmly by Nino who had prepared deliciously fresh local produce for us. The house was clean and the outdoor environment was fantastic. The views over the sea and the natural park are phenomenal with very beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the cooling pool and the privacy. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding towns. (from 5 min to 20 min by car). The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to prepare your own meals. The house itself is easily accessible. And Antonino responds very quickly to messages. In short, for us this was a wonderful holiday that we will remember for a long time! Thank you Antonino, Nino and Ivana. Maybe we will come back one day.)

The start was very good with a 4 persons checking us in, we feels very welcome and loved the fresh food, local jam and olivenolie we Got. The House it self are amazing, very privat and secluded. Pool area was used a lot. Wifi and all other stuff worked very Well, nothing to complain about. The city itself do not have so much to offer, a very small grocey shop just 100 meters away but nothing Els. The Beach are nice but a little stony, a short drive are better 100% sand beaches. The view from the House and the Outdoor area are second to none, you have 180 degres view of the Beach! The Sunset was amazing, so quiet and beuatiful. We cannot wait to be back!

We loved this beautiful hideaway overlooking the ocean. We spent most of our time outdoors on one of the beautiful terraces or in the pool. The property is arranged so that you always have a choice of sun or shade. It was a delight to eat dinner to a beautiful sunset and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Silvana was just lovely and speaks perfect English.

Fantastic week!
The house is perfect: well equipped with superb views and absolute quiet.. very beautiful part of Sicily offering amazing beaches, great temples and villages in the mountain. And if this were not enough we could enjoy excellent Sicilian food with fish, fish and fish again...we loved it.

Ho letto più volte la descrizione della sua villa e non mi sembra di aver trovato alcuni importanti avvertimenti.
Non ho trovato menzionato il "rischio" di potersi lasciare incantare dal frinire delle cicale di giorno e quello di grilli la sera mentre la luna si specchia in questo splendido maree lo sguardo e la mente si perdono e si perdono...Nessuna traccia del "rischio" di potersi abbandonare allo SCRUSCIO DU MARE come direbbe il vostro Camilleri, alla riserva sottostante che regala frescura nei caldi pomeriggi, al panorama del mare che si perde al vista d'occhio, alle stelle alla bellezza tutta dei tramonti.
Quindi attenzione! Crea dipendenza!

We have had an excellent two weeks here - wonderfully well looked after by the owners - and for much of the time have been more than happy finding the shade for reading, swimming in the pool or dropping down to the beach for a swim. We also enjoyed a walk in the wood of the nature reserve next to the beach. Also locally we enjoyed excellent pizzas at the Gallo d'Oro in the little square of Borgo Bonsignore.
And of course, the sunsets have been magnificent!

We stayed for a week in the wonderful villa and had the most relaxing stay we could have possibly had!The pool area is divine, the villa itself is lovely and the outside arealends itself perfectly to chilled evenings playing cards.We walked down from the villa to 2 beaches - one to the left which is great for a lazy day by the sea. Other things we recommend are visiting the Valley of the Temples and also Scala dei Turcgi - this is breathtaking but make sure to go early, we arrived at 9 and it was quiet, but 10:50 it is absolutely packed.
