Mamma Etna è una deliziosa villa, elegantemente arredata, fornita di qualunque accessorio, situata in una zona strategica a due passi dal mare Ionio.
La villa è costituita da una unità principale che presenta: un’ampia matrimoniale; una familiare con bagno in camera e con letto matrimoniale e letto alla francese; un altro bagno e doccia idromassaggio; ed una cucina-living.
Tutte le stanze, luminosissime, si affacciano sulla zona piscina.
Accostata alla unità principale si trova una dependance con cucina, soggiorno ed una matrimoniale con bagno in camera.
L’esterno ha un ampio solarium con gazebo ed area BBQ.

Mamma Etna is located in the picturesque village of Santa Caterina, in Catania-Etna-Taormina area.
The beach (rocky) is just 3 kilometers away (Capo Molini or Santa Maria La Scala or Acitrezza), where you can enjoy apart the sea many restaurants and gelaterie.
We are in the eastern side of Sicily, the homeland of Etna volcano with its very special amenities such as inactive craters (the sons of Etna), caves, forests, lava flows of the past.
The pearl of Sicily, one of the worldwide masterpieces of beauty: here it is Taormina, 30 kms, an evergreen location that has attracted people since the ancient times. Archaeology, myth, a typical Arab style architecture, amazing landscapes, a blue sea, and such a noble atmosphere, gives Taormina a unique charm. A walk in Via del Corso is an unforgettable moment to do not miss among exclusive shops, delicious restaurants and coffee, stunning views of the sea, the Greek theatre, the terrifying shape of Etna volcano on the background.
Few kilometers away from Taormina downtown, here it is one of the most beautiful place in the world: Taormina mare (Mazzarò, Spisone, Isolabella), with many lido (private beaches provided with deckchairs, restaurants, beach facilities) along the coastline.
If you planned to visit Catania, 5 kms away, I suggest you to park the car in Piazza Alcalà and from there have a walk all around the town: you can start from the worldwide famous Pescheria located in Piazza Duomo (the heart of Catania) and from it approach the Via Etnea, the main street of the town, a pedestrian street with many shops, cafe's and wonderful buldings in Baroque style. Let's walk for about a kilometer, visiting the Roman amphitheatre (in Piazza Stesicoro) until arrive to the Villa Bellini (Catania's public garden).
Syracuse, with its archeological area and the wonderful Ortigia island, is 80 kms away.
Its time to eat something and my tip is to taste the unmissable Pasta alla Norma and to enjoy, at least once, a typical Sicilian breakfast: granita and brioche!
Of course, we suggest you to enjoy our Silvana's Cooking Class, just few kilometers away from the villa.
And, of course, fish, fish, fish … and do not miss to visit some of ours outdoor fish markets (Riposto, Acitrezza, Catania).
