The house is located in the western side of Sicily, just 6 km from the medieval town of Cefalù (photo) worldwide famous for its monuments as the XII century Cattedrale, the castles and an enigmatic temple on the rock that overlooks the town, the Ancient Roman baths, the Osterio Magno palace, the Museo Mandralisca with a collection of paintings, archeological finds... and other highlights that you can discover strolling the narrow alleys of this wonderful town.
Just 20 km and here it is the archeological town of Himera, with the ruins of a temple, a well equipped Antiquarium and the ruins of the 648 B.C. town.
The house stands, even if just 700 form the sandy beach of San Ambrogio.
40 kms and we approach Palermo, the capital of Sicily, with its fascinating monuments, outdoor markets, street food stalls...
