Monte Polizo

An eternal archeological mission is bringing to light the ruins of what was supposed to be an important Elymian city (8th century BC) that some have identified as Halyciae. For now, very few ruins exist.
Houses, temples and roads are awaiting enough restoration to make them accessibile to the public.
Among the many outstanding exhibits are an ornament of glass paste (Punic), pithoi (large containers for supplies), loom weights, a bronze arrowhead, a lamp, a fragment of a vase decorated with refined decoration, amphora from the eastern Mediterranean and various other objects.
