Eight lava caves, almost in the center of town, itself in a lava field.

In length they reach about 1.5 kilometers.

Today inhabited by bats, in the past the housed people (Bronze Age).

In the ground you can see many traces of the agricultural cultivation once present in the area: olive groves and vinyards, that among the stone tracks, a system of open canals and little rural buildings in lava stone, were cultivated on the typical terraces seen all over Etna.
