Wonderful Sicily villa (XVIII century), totally built in typical lava stone, surrounded by greenery, with a breathtaking views of the gulf of Taromina (and the Italian peninsula in the background). We are in one of the most beautiful areas of the island between the UNESCO site of Etna volcano and the enchanting sea of the renowned Taormina. The villa (120 sqm) spreads on two levels. At the first one there is a fully equipped kitchen, a big living-room where you can also find a sofa bed, and one bedroom. On the second level we can find the other two bedrooms from wich you can enjoy an unforgettable panorama. All the bedrooms (25 sqm each one !) are very big, wide and panoramics and with an ensuite bathrooms. In total the villa can host up to 9 people (3 per rooms) since each bedroom has a sofa bed. The villa is fully immersed in a green area of 5000 sqm with centuries-old trees, in a peaceful atmosphere. Here there is a marvellous pool (12×5 meters), maybe the landmark of this place, a heaven of wealth and tranquillity. Outside you can also find a barbecue set, close to the gazebo and the pool area so you can enjoy a typical Sicilian “arrusti e mangia” (roast and eat !). :-). We welcome you!

Presa (photo, 1 km) is a romantic village located between Etna park and Taormina. It’s renowned to have the greatest panorama in Sicily, from where one can extend his glance to Taormina, the Italian mainland and almost all the eastern slope of Ionian sea !
This is the reason why many people from all over the world have purchased villas in this exclusive and green area.
The house is located at 1 km from the center of the village, were we can gind: a church, a little market, a pizzeria-restaurant and a square where, during the summertime, take places several festivals: the maccherunata, a sort of party of tne maccheroni pasta, and the salsicciata with local sausage, are the most acclaimed and take places more than once.
You won’t forget this genuine atmosphere of Presa (and the Maccheroni festival, of course).
From Presa you can reach the Etna park in less than 10 km’s.

The biggest town close to Presa is Piedimonte Etneo, that is 5 km’s away.
The beach of Fondachello is at 15 km’s
Taormina, the pearl of Sicily, is 20 km’s away and Giardini Naxos (photo), with its marvellous sandy beaches and promenade, less than 15.
A good fish market is in Riposto, at 20 km’s.
Catania, is almost 30 kms away. Here you can't miss the outdoor fish market. It is located in Piazza Duomo (photo) from where you can also start a walking along the renowned via Etnea, a masterpiece of Baroque style and gelaterie!
You are in the land of ice creams and granite: have the latter for breakfast (with brioche, photo).
Pasta? Uhmmm ... let me think …: Norma, Vongole, Nero di Seppia, Sarde!
Some other food tip ? Here it is: Arancino, Cipollina, Sicilian salade (tomato, onion, black olives, ricotta salata), involtini alla messinese, swordfish alla griglia.
A good tip is to visit of the biggest chestnut in the world, in Sant’Alfio (10 km’s).
Nearby, also worth mentioning the striking Gole of the river Alcantara (Alcanta gorges, 30 km's).
