Serre Villalba (Cozzo Pirtusiddu)
Wonderful spot just in the earth of Sicily.
It’s a long rocky plateau that stands among the silent and poetic fields of grain.
But it’s a wonderful experience.
The highest point is Cozzo Pirtusiddu (pirtusu means hole in Sicilian), and here the rock shows a big hole in the middle.
If you’d like to visit the Serre you can enjoy a walk of about 2 kilometers with some difficulty since the area is not a natural reserve so is a wild zone.
